"Flying Circus" coming to Butler Regional Airport | Events
HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - What the Greater Cincinnati Radio Control Club (GCRCC) bills as the nation's largest and most exciting Model Air Show is coming to Hamilton next month.
The GCRCC is a group of model airplane enthusiasts who put on a radio control model air show every summer called The Flying Circus. This year will be The 51st Annual Flying Circus and will cover two days and feature over 200 model aircraft of all kinds, from helicopters to jets, to a rocket powered Space Shuttle.
At the show they demonstrate all of our various forms of R/C modeling in ways that challenge the pilots and provide entertainment for the folks watching. It is a great family event that has become a Greater Cincinnati tradition.
The 51st Annual Flying Circus is August 6th and 7th, 11:30 to 4:00pm each day. Parking is $5.00 for one person, $10 for two or more people, but admission is free.
Butler County Regional Airport is at 2820 Bobmeyer Rd. Hamilton, Ohio. The event website is www.RCFlyingCircus.com.
