Street closures for Icefest 2013 | Events

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -  Downtown Hamilton will be ice cold and filled with sculptures January 18 and January 19.

Several street closures will be in affect for Icefest 2013 from January 17 - 21. South Second Street between High Street and Court Street will be closed to through traffic from 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 17, 2013 until 8:00 a.m. Monday January 21, 2013. 

Front Street between High Street and Court Street will be closed to through traffic from 9:00 a.m. Friday January 18, 2013 until 8:00 a.m. Monday January 21, 2013.

Court Street between Front Street and Third Street will be closed to through traffic from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday January 19, 2013.

Traffic detours will be posted. Street closures are needed for Icefest which is scheduled for Friday, January 18th-Saturday, January 19.

The annual Icefest is located in Hamilton on High Street, beginning at the Government Services Center and ending just across the High-Main Street Bridge. Hundreds of ice sculptures and 40 tons of ice will be on display.

All  activities are free and appeal to visitors young and old alike.
